What you will do

• Monitor and analyze real-time activities and performance of utility operating assets to determine root causes of operational events.
• Identify abnormal operating and alarm conditions and react accordingly in a high-stress, time-sensitive environment.
• Manage power plant operations based on location, generation type, regional regulations, and customer contractual requirements.
• Coordinate and implement remedial actions to maximize equipment availability and revenue.
• Execute activities associated with asset contracts, including capacity scheduling, reporting, and telemetry issues.
• Collaborate with Field Operations teams, Scheduling Coordinators, and Transmission Operators for status notifications and operating instructions.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Scottsdale, Arizona.
• Work Authorization: Clearway will not sponsor non-immigrant visas (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.).
• Experience in Operations or as a Solar/Wind Field Technician (2 years preferred).
• Technical knowledge of plant processes and experience operating electrical and SCADA systems.
• Ability to work 12.5-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree or formal operations apprenticeship training.
• Previous control room experience.
• Knowledge of functional systems interactions.
