What you will do

• Diagnose and repair rotating equipment including pumps and compressors.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant machinery.
• Install and troubleshoot steam distribution equipment and boiler auxiliaries.
• Maintain pneumatic and electrical control systems.
• Complete work orders and documentation via computer systems.
• Work scheduled and emergency overtime as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial plant.
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Must be willing to become a member of IBEW Local 614.
• Must possess a valid driver license in good standing.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical exam and drug screening.

Nice to have

• Vo-tech certificate or apprenticeship completion.
• Degree in Machine Tool Technology.
• Experience with laser alignment tools and milling equipment.
