TL;DR

Major Account Manager (SaaS): Driving expansion and revenue growth within strategic financial and retail accounts in the DACH region with an accent on upselling, cross-selling, and strategic client engagement. Focus on navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, integrating Secure DevOps principles, and ensuring compliance with standards like DORA and OWASP.

Location: Must be based in Germany (or be able to relocate there). Hybrid setup with three anchor days in the office (Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays).

What you will do

  • Generate new opportunities within a portfolio of strategic financial and retail accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
  • Lead strategic client engagements and Quarterly Business Reviews to demonstrate compliance with DORA, CRA, and OWASP.
  • Develop deep relationships with technical and business champions as an expert on clean code and application security.
  • Size, quote, negotiate, and close enterprise-level upgrades and high-value deals.
  • Collaborate with marketing to execute targeted campaigns for the banking and retail sectors.
  • Maintain meticulous account activity and opportunity forecasting using Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales selling technical products to technical buyers and executives.
  • Must be based in Germany or be ready to relocate.
  • Proven success managing large enterprise accounts and negotiating deals over £250k.
  • Solid understanding of DORA, CRA, and OWASP Top 10 security standards.
  • Mastery of account planning, strategic prospecting, and pipeline management.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce is mandatory.

  • Strong understanding of Secure DevOps principles and the application of AI in enhancing code security.
