What you will do

• Set up and operate DeVlieg and Genevoise jig boring machines to manufacture precision components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric tolerances (GD&T).
• Perform precision boring, drilling, reaming, and milling operations to tight tolerances.
• Conduct first-off and in-process inspections using micrometers, verniers, and bore gauges.
• Collaborate with machinists, quality, and engineering teams to ensure production targets are met.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records in compliance with aerospace quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating DeVlieg and Genevoise jig boring machines.
• Strong background in precision machining, toolmaking, or manufacturing environments.
• Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Competence in using precision inspection and measuring equipment.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the workshop in Wolverhampton, GBR.

Nice to have

• Apprenticeship or recognized qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Toolmaking, or Precision Engineering.
• Experience working within AS9100 quality systems.
• Background in aerospace, automotive, or defence industries.
• Certification for overhead crane and lifting equipment.
