Production Technician (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the setup, changeover, washout, asset care, and operation of mixing, filling, and packaging equipment.
• Operate mixing equipment and accurately weigh and add raw materials according to system instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Champion safety, quality assurance, peer-to-peer safety, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement processes.
• Support risk assessments for manufacturing procedures and proactively address safety, quality, and environmental issues.
• Coach agency operators and support the training of new operators.
• Use stop-work authority when people’s safety or product quality may be at risk.

Requirements

• Experience operating and troubleshooting automated equipment, including mixing vessels, CIP systems, filling machines, case-packing machines, and palletising robots.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment to defined quality specifications and standard operating procedures.
• Experience complying with safety requirements in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong commitment to non-negotiable safety and quality standards.
• Ability to communicate actively, coach colleagues patiently, and take ownership of required actions.
