Salary: $78,000 - $107,250 base + 15% incentive

What you will do

• Handle construction claims from coverage inquiry through resolution, managing moderate to high exposure cases.
• Analyze policy documents to confirm coverage and communicate formal coverage positions to stakeholders.
• Direct investigations into loss facts and manage assignments for outside counsel and technical experts.
• Set reserves and negotiate settlements, specifically for claims involving litigation.
• Represent the company at mediations, trials, and professional conferences.
• Provide technical training and coaching to team members and assist underwriting with drafting policy wording.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; JD or advanced technical degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of claims handling experience, including at least 3 years as a Claims Examiner.
• Must hold or be eligible to receive a claims adjuster license.
• Strong knowledge of tort and contract law.
• Experience in negotiation, mediations, and litigation management.
• Valid US Work Authorization is mandatory; no sponsorship available.

• Industry designations such as INS, IEA, AIC, ARM, SCLA, or CPCU.
• Participation in industry training (e.g., CLM Claim College, Munich Re Training, FDCC).
