What you will do

• Manage the operational and organizational continuity of the Cologne development site, including office management and employee retention.
• Lead a development team of approximately 15 employees focused on the Website Builder Application.
• Drive the "AI first" initiative at the site, enabling employees to use AI tools productively in their daily work.
• Ensure technical development quality, reliability, and innovation pace for the Website Builder product.
• Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives and strengthen hirify.global as a top tech employer.
• Establish sustainable learning, training, and enablement formats to scale best practices.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in a leadership role (Site Lead, Engineering Manager, or Head of Development) in a tech-driven environment.
• Proven track record leading software engineering teams, preferably in web applications or SaaS.
• Solid technical understanding of modern web technologies and agile development processes.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI tools and their integration into engineering workflows.
• Strong verbal and written German skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from Cologne, Germany.
