Commercial Sales Engineering Manager (Cybersecurity): Leading and developing a team of Commercial Sales Engineers to drive technical qualification and deal execution for the NodeZero platform with an accent on coaching, pipeline progression, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on building repeatable onboarding processes, optimizing product demonstrations, and scaling technical sales operations in a high-volume environment.

Location: Must be based in the US and able to work from the Chicago office three days per week

Salary: $250,000 - $276,000 OTE

What you will do

  • Recruit, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Sales Engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
  • Coach the team on discovery, product demonstrations, technical qualification, and customer communication.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Sales leaders to improve pipeline progression and overall deal execution.
  • Develop onboarding programs, playbooks, and repeatable operating rhythms for early-career engineers.
  • Partner with Product, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Engineering to improve the customer experience.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or Solutions Architecture within cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS.
  • 2+ years of people leadership experience leading customer-facing technical teams.
  • Experience supporting Commercial, SMB, or Mid-Market sales organizations.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including networking, cloud security, identity, and vulnerability management.
  • Ability to work from the Chicago office three days per week.
