Business Unit Leader (Software)

Imaginet provides web, CMS, and application development services to enterprise and mid-market customers as part of hirify.global and the wider Jonas Software network.

What you will do

• Plan and manage the financial performance, resources, and operations of Imaginet and potential future business units.
• Lead employees and management teams to achieve business objectives, revenue targets, and profit goals.
• Develop product strategy and ensure delivery against the published roadmap.
• Build long-term relationships with customers, industry partners, and UK-based alliances.
• Oversee customer service quality, employee welfare and development, and operational risk management.
• Ensure reporting, policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance are implemented effectively.

Requirements

• Senior management or business leadership experience within a software business.
• Proven experience growing a business through sales initiatives and managing client relationships from small businesses to enterprise customers.
• Experience with financial management, revenue and profit targets, controls, and reward schemes.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, decision-making, analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
• Experience with contract negotiations, company policies, statutory obligations, and regulatory compliance.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK is required.

Nice to have

• Established profile in the UK transportation software industry.
• Degree or equivalent experience in management, business, or information technology.
• Experience selling to corporate businesses, local authorities, and universities.
