Managing Director, Valuations & Advisory Services, Western Canada (Commercial Real Estate): Leading and growing Colliers’ regional commercial real estate valuation and advisory platform across Western Canada with an accent on strategy, P&L ownership, client development, and professional standards. Focus on expanding market share, developing valuation talent, advancing technology and quality assurance, and managing complex risk and regulatory requirements.
Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The role leads operations across British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba. Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in Canada; visa sponsorship is not available.
Annual salary: $175,000–$225,000 CAD.

What you will do
- Lead the Valuations & Advisory Services business across Western Canada and execute a regional growth strategy.
- Own regional P&L performance, including budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and investment decisions.
- Acquire clients, expand institutional relationships, and identify cross-service-line and cross-market opportunities.
- Recruit, develop, and retain valuation professionals while building an engaged, collaborative, inclusive, and accountable workplace.
- Advance technology, data, systems, and business practices to improve productivity, report quality, operational efficiency, and client experience.
- Oversee training, quality assurance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and market development across Canada.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 12–15 years of relevant experience, including significant commercial real estate experience.
- AACI designation and demonstrated success leading a valuation, advisory, or related professional services business.
- Experience with P&L responsibility, strategy, revenue growth, client relationships, and business performance improvement.
- Experience with quality assurance, appraisal review, risk management, complex issue resolution, and CUSPAP or related professional standards.
- Knowledge of market research, strategic planning, organizational change, valuation technology, property databases, and CRM platforms.
