What you will do

• Produce and review Lloyd’s quarterly and annual regulatory returns, including QMA, SITUS, NAIC, and TRIA.
• Prepare detailed results commentary, balance sheet analytics, and P&L performance for stakeholder forums.
• Supervise and challenge the work of outsourced service providers to ensure accuracy and SLA compliance.
• Manage accounting ledgers for syndicates and corporate members through the month, quarter, and year-end GL close.
• Drive process improvements and implement reporting efficiencies to build a best-in-class finance function.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Underwriting, Risk, and Technology teams across geographically dispersed locations.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant or significant experience in a senior accounting and Lloyds reporting role.
• Degree-level education or demonstrable experience in syndicate financial accounting and reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of Lloyd’s reporting requirements, IFRS 17, and UKGAAP.
• Proficiency in IT, specifically data modelling software and accounting ledgers.
• Experience working with distributed teams and stakeholders in different locations.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work in London in a hybrid capacity.
