What you will do

• Investigate allocated claims from the desk or via field adjusters.
• Obtain and analyze necessary evidence and documentation for case resolution.
• Prepare detailed reports on policy indemnity, response, and recommendations.
• Negotiate settlements within agreed authority limits.
• Maintain proper reserves through regular case reviews.
• Liaise professionally with insurers, policyholders, and brokers to progress cases.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Birmingham, UK.
• Experience in handling short and long-tail disease claims (e.g., Asbestos, NIHL, HAVS, Asthma).
• Knowledge of insurance market principles, policy wording, and reserving philosophies.
• Understanding of legal principles, Civil Procedure Rules, and the Claims Portal.
• Strong IT skills and ability to manage a personal workload.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
