What you will do
- Partner with Account Executives to manage complex opportunities from discovery to close, supporting win rates and quota attainment.
- Deliver tailored and engaging product demonstrations across Higher Education, K12, government, and corporate learning markets.
- Analyze and respond to technical requirements in RFIs and RFPs to determine the best solution mix.
- Address integration and deployment needs, including SIS interoperability, SSO, APIs, data residency, and security frameworks.
- Document customer requirements to ensure a successful evaluation and seamless handoff to post-sales teams.
- Mentor colleagues in the EMEA SE team and maintain an organized technical toolkit and demo environment.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of sales engineering or technical pre-sales experience in a SaaS environment.
- Must be based in the UK.
- Technical understanding of EdTech, web technology, systems integration, APIs, SSO, and cloud platforms.
- Proven experience responding to RFIs and RFPs for government or enterprise sectors.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to guide senior stakeholders through complex evaluation decisions.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% across EMEA.
Nice to have
- Experience with Canvas LMS or other enterprise-scale learning management systems.
- Familiarity with European or Gulf education market dynamics and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in additional European languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch).
