What you will do

• Lead new program implementation, including SOR preparation, forecasting, and conveyor controls design.
• Design, install, and continuously improve Paint Shop conveyor equipment and systems.
• Provide technical direction to outside vendors and manage deliverables according to program milestones.
• Perform troubleshooting and site support for existing programs.
• Create and maintain standardized work, processes, and procedures for Paint controls.
• Design and troubleshoot electrical control systems and error-proofing systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Controls or Electrical Engineer.
• Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming, including Ethernet and Devicenet networks.
• Experience with motion control, drives, and electrical control systems design.
• Extensive plant floor experience specifically within Paint Shops.
• Knowledge of GPM&C, PR&T, and WebTip.
