What you will do

• Design and develop high-performance engine components and assemblies using 3D CAD software.
• Produce and maintain accurate 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Support senior designers with concept generation, component selection, and technical investigations.
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance studies, and design validation activities.
• Manage engineering changes and ensure all documentation is updated accurately.
• Investigate design-related faults, conduct root cause analysis, and implement engineering solutions.

Requirements

• BEng or MEng degree in Motorsport Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of fundamental mechanical and combustion engine systems.
• Proficiency in mechanical design software and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in engineering documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Analytical approach to troubleshooting and ability to meet agreed deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience using CATIA V5.
• Industrial placement year experience in a Design Office setting.
• Practical experience from Formula Student or volunteering on race weekends.
