What you will do

• Design and develop high-performance engine components from concept through to manufacture.
• Produce detailed 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations, design reviews, and tolerance studies to validate performance.
• Develop innovative solutions for engine durability, weight reduction, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Engine Engineering, Production, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams.
• Investigate design issues using structured root cause analysis and implement robust solutions.

Requirements

• BEng or MEng degree in Motorsport Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Previous mechanical design experience in motorsport, automotive, or high-performance engineering.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software for complex mechanical components and assemblies.
• Deep understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet strict programme deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience designing components specifically for high-performance internal combustion engines.
• Knowledge of GD&T and design for manufacture (DfM) processes.
