Employee Relations Advisor

TL;DR

Employee Relations Advisor (HR): Managing employee relations matters including performance and absence management with an accent on UK employment law and conflict resolution. Focus on driving performance management agendas and providing expert guidance to managers on complex ER cases.

Location: Hybrid (Must live within a commutable distance of the Milton Park office; minimum 3 days per week in-person).

What you will do

• Provide advice and guidance to managers on performance, absence, and wellbeing.
• Lead investigations, grievances, appeals, and manage conflict resolution.
• Oversee the management of performance plans to foster a high-performance culture.
• Manage flexible working and sabbatical requests.
• Analyze case trends and sickness absence to make recommendations for improvement.
• Provide support in acquisitions, restructures, and change programs.

Requirements

• Solid background in Employee Relations handling sensitive and complex cases.
• Strong working knowledge of current UK employment law and its application.
• CIPD qualification or part-qualification.
• Experience with SAP HR or similar HRIS.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
