Location: Must be based in Japan and willing to travel regularly within the country

What you will do

  • Identify and research strategic accounts in Japan to generate a qualified pipeline.
  • Create personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn, phone, and referrals.
  • Map buying committees across business, data, engineering, and AI teams.
  • Support and drive engagement at conferences, meetups, and executive roundtables.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Solutions Architects, and Marketing to track pipeline and conversion rates.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of BDR/SDR experience in B2B SaaS selling to developers or engineers.
  • Native-level Japanese and fluent English.
  • Based in Japan with willingness to travel domestically.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot and sales engagement platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the Japanese enterprise landscape and business cultural nuances.
  • Ability to articulate technical concepts related to AI and data infrastructure.
