Personal Injury Assistant Lawyer (Legal): Managing a caseload of fast track ex portal accident cases including Employers’ Liability and Public Liability matters with an accent on end-to-end case management. Focus on executing court directions, managing interim applications, and progressing claims through to trial.
Location: Hybrid; must be based in or able to work from Dagenham, Birmingham, Liverpool, or Newcastle

What you will do
- Manage a full caseload of fast track ex portal accident cases (EL, PL) from initiation to conclusion.
- Identify cases requiring transfer within the branch network based on value or complexity.
- Execute daily case decisions and manage matters in accordance with court directions.
- Issue and serve proceedings and respond to defences.
- Handle interim applications and progress claims through to Trial when necessary.
Requirements
- Experience as a lawyer with a strong understanding of personal injury law and the CPR.
- Knowledge of rules on evidence, litigation processes, and funding.
- Proven experience handling fast track EL and PL personal injury claims.
- Ability to run a caseload independently and advise on evidence, liability, and quantum.
- Proactive and empathetic communication skills to maintain strong client relationships.
- Must be based in or be able to work from Dagenham, Birmingham, Liverpool, or Newcastle
