Paralegal (Insurance Law): Supporting experienced lawyers in handling property damage claims and recovery matters with an accent on documentation and case management. Focus on conducting legal research, collating evidence, and ensuring compliance with SRA standards.

Location: Hybrid (Bolton, UK). 3 days in the office, 2 days from home

What you will do

• Assist lawyers in pursuing Household and Commercial recovery matters.
• Chase and collate documents required for strategy consideration.
• Diarise Court orders and manage other critical dates.
• Arrange conferences, Counsel, and expert attendance.
• Perform legal research and complete factual chronologies.
• Ensure strict compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations.

Requirements

• Degree level education and/or Post graduate qualification.
• Ability to prioritize workload and maintain high attention to detail.
• Experience working with case management systems.
• Strong personal skills to manage competing demands from a team of lawyers.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Bolton office.

Nice to have

• Previous experience within a team handling insurance claims.
• Knowledge of disputes handled by the Property Risks and Coverage Recoveries team.
