Focus on handling RTA claims through to court hearings, drafting legal documents, and negotiating with third-party solicitors.

What you will do

  • Manage a caseload of DA credit hire files, potentially including personal injury components.
  • Conduct file review and analysis according to client guidelines and formulate case strategies.
  • Perform legal research and conduct telephone negotiations with third-party solicitors.
  • Draft essential court documents including defences, direction questionnaires, and CPR Part 18/35 questions.
  • Handle disclosure, exchange of evidence, pre-trial checklists, and the instruction of Counsel.
  • Ensure strict compliance with ISO 9001 guidelines and SRA Standards and Regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in litigation and handling Credit Hire files with evidence of managing a personal caseload.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent; a degree or LPC is preferred.
  • Strong telephone negotiation and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work efficiently in a target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and experience with Case Management Systems.

Nice to have

  • Experience handling Personal Injury (PI) claims.
