Storage Engineer (AI/HPC)

Location: Hybrid in South Korea, with 3 days in the office; Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do, KR 13529

What you will do

• Install, configure, build, and create data storage arrays that meet customer availability and capacity requirements.
• Administer DDN, Pure, and VAST storage area networks and network attached storage systems.
• Provision storage resources and manage storage pools, volumes, and snapshots.
• Implement and maintain data protection strategies, including backups and replication.
• Monitor performance and capacity, troubleshoot storage issues, perform maintenance, and document configurations and procedures.
• Participate in a weekly on-call rotation and communicate with customers and internal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in storage administration.
• Proven experience with DDN and VAST storage solutions.
• Strong understanding of SANs, NAS, and storage protocols including FC, iSCSI, and NFS.
• Experience with storage management software such as DDN SFA or VAST Management Console, plus strong Linux administration skills.
• Ability to work hybrid in South Korea with 3 days in the office; English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with storage virtualization technologies such as VMware vSAN or EMC VPLEX.
• Experience with cloud storage solutions including AWS S3 or Azure Blob Storage.
• Scripting experience with Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with high-performance storage, parallel file systems, HPC/AI cloud environments, or HPC cluster administration.
