What you will do

• Develop and lead the Advanced Surgery supply chain strategy in line with business growth and supplier performance objectives.
• Implement supplier productivity and improvement plans with global category management teams.
• Build relationships across Operations, Engineering, Quality, and suppliers to identify sourcing, cost-reduction, lead-time, and capability opportunities.
• Resolve chronic and major supplier performance issues and minimize supply disruption.
• Run competitive bids, analyze total cost of ownership, negotiate contracts, and award business to key suppliers.
• Improve inventory turns through Kanban, vendor-managed inventory, supplier consignment, Kaizen events, and supplier performance reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or supply chain.
• 3+ years of strategic sourcing experience.
• Strong negotiation, communication, influencing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with supplier visits, audits, negotiations, contracts, cost-reduction projects, and material spend management.
• Ability to ensure material availability while reducing inventory and increasing inventory turns.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills required; German is a plus.
