TL;DR

Counsel, Corporate Legal Affairs: Providing legal support for software and technology licensing, commercial transactions, and corporate operations with an accent on contract negotiation, risk allocation, and regulatory compliance. Focus on advising internal stakeholders, managing M&A activities, and ensuring data security across enterprise functions.

Location: Must be based in New York, NY (Hybrid: 4 days/week in-office)

Salary: $140,000 - $170,000

What you will do

  • Provide legal support for Sourcing and Operations & Technology groups.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate corporate transaction agreements, including M&A.
  • Advise on contractual rights, duties, and pre-litigation dispute resolution.
  • Coordinate with Privacy, Information Security, and Compliance teams.
  • Support business unit attorneys on complex transactions.
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of legal service delivery.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be admitted to the New York State Bar or eligible to register as in-house counsel in New York.
  • 4+ years of experience at a law firm or comparable in-house position.
  • Ability to prioritize a high volume of deals and deadlines.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work from the New York office at least four days per week.
