TL;DR

Senior HR Manager: Supporting the local leadership team in Houston to shape a high-performance, people-centric organization with an accent on HR strategy, talent management, and organizational development. Focus on driving employee engagement, ensuring compliance with U.S. labor laws, and acting as a strategic partner within a complex matrix environment.

Location: Must be based in Houston, Texas. This role is primarily office-based with occasional remote flexibility.

What you will do

  • Translate business priorities into effective people strategies and drive initiatives across the full HR lifecycle.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on operational and strategic HR matters, including complex employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Lead key cyclical HR processes such as performance management, talent development, and compensation projects.
  • Own the local recruiting strategy, collaborating with hiring managers and the global Talent Acquisition team.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
  • Act as a culture ambassador, fostering inclusive, diverse, and psychologically safe teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with several years in a strategic HRBP role.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor, tax, and social security law, specifically in Texas.
  • Fluent English skills required; Spanish proficiency is preferred.
  • Proven experience in an international, technical, or energy sector environment.
  • Ability to travel interstate and internationally (mainly Europe) on a periodic basis.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR).
  • Experience with Workday and ADP systems.
