Principal Engineer (Salesforce)

What you will do

• Lead custom development and continuous enhancement of the Salesforce platform aligned with business goals, technical standards, and security requirements.
• Design and implement Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce Experience Cloud, including custom apps, automation, and integrations.
• Architect and develop Experience Cloud solutions tailored to large channel and alliance partner ecosystems to improve user experience and engagement.
• Build middleware web services between Salesforce and external systems using Java and Spring Boot, leveraging Salesforce APIs for complex business logic.
• Manage deployment pipelines and workflows using Gearset CI/CD and GitHub; set up and optimize CI/CD processes.
• Write unit tests, monitor/debug production Salesforce issues, and lead code reviews while mentoring and coaching Salesforce developers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience as a Salesforce Technical Leader, Salesforce Developer, or related role.
• At least 2 years of experience in each: Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud for 40,000+ users in usage-based SaaS go-to-market technology companies (including LWC, Visualforce, Flows, Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and related declarative features).
• At least 2 years of experience evolving a mature, heavily customized Salesforce environment (10+ years of customizations), addressing performance/scalability and working with 15+ engineers.
• At least 2 years of experience implementing secure SSO and MFA integrations using SAML, OAuth, and JWT for third-party and custom identity providers.
• Must hold Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience with Apex coding standards and code reviews using GitLab and GitHub, plus CI/CD and DevOps processes using Gearset and GitHub.
