What you will do

• Design new product surfaces from scratch in an emerging product category.
• Balance systems thinking with high-craft visual design, including typography and motion.
• Prototype rapidly to explore and solve complex interaction problems.
• Evolve the design system to support scaling from single-product to multi-product.
• Conduct user research to understand how the product integrates into actual workflows.
• Ship small-to-medium code changes using AI tooling and engineering support.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in San Francisco.
• Proven experience in 0-to-1 product design or novel interaction paradigms.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both visual design and systems thinking.
• Previous experience in a startup, design agency, or freelance environment.
• Experience with enterprise customers or mobile/device-based products.
• High agency, clarity of thought, and attention to detail.
