Location: Must be based in the US or Canada (Remote or hybrid in Toronto).
Salary: USD $125,000–$160,000 (US) or CAD $115,000–$155,000 (Canada).

What you will do
- Define, document, and evolve the platform's visual language, design system, and component library.
- Lead end-to-end design for major product launches and complex reworks, including AI-mediated experiences.
- Ensure accessibility conformance (WCAG 2.2 AA / Section 508) as a default design constraint.
- Conduct user research with diverse personas, including job seekers and agency staff, to inform design decisions.
- Maintain interaction coherence across multiple surfaces while allowing for deliberate divergence where necessary.
- Mentor PMs and engineers to raise the overall design fluency and quality standards of the product team.
Requirements
- Must be based in the US or Canada.
- Deep experience in product design for complex, multi-persona B2B/B2G or enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Proven track record of owning and scaling a design system.
- Fluency in accessible design with demonstrated experience meeting WCAG 2.2 AA / Section 508 standards.
- Experience designing for AI-mediated or recommendation-driven interfaces.
- Strong fundamentals in information architecture, interaction design, and user research.
Nice to have
- Experience in digital government, civic tech, or workforce development.
- Background in designing for multi-tenant platforms.
- Comfort operating as the senior-most design voice with executive stakeholders.
