TL;DR

Federal Civilian Sales Account Executive (AI): Driving enterprise-level software sales to U.S. Federal Civilian agencies with an accent on the Department of Justice (DOJ) and complex government procurement processes. Focus on building strategic account plans, managing high-value sales pipelines, and establishing relationships with key stakeholders and systems integrators.

Location: Must be based in the Washington, DC metro area and able to work from the Arlington, VA office at least 1 day per week.

Compensation: $300,000–$340,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Achieve or exceed sales targets within the assigned Federal Civilian territory.
  • Develop and execute enterprise-level sales campaigns and account plans.
  • Manage and forecast sales pipelines accurately using Salesforce.
  • Present products to senior executives and navigate complex procurement objections.
  • Build relationships with key customer POCs, strategic partners, and systems integrators.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing within established management frameworks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of field sales experience selling directly to the US Federal Government.
  • Deep knowledge of US Federal Civilian Agencies, specifically the DOJ, and their acquisition processes.
  • Proven track record of closing software deals exceeding $1M ARR.
  • Ability to work from the Arlington, VA office at least 1 day per week.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
