What you will do
- Own end-to-end research across generative, evaluative, and strategic studies regarding personalized biometric insights.
- Design and run rapid experiments like A/B tests as a primary research tool for validating personalization.
- Lead research into ambiguous problem spaces, particularly AI- and LLM-powered recommendation experiences.
- Study how personalization adapts across different member segments and health contexts.
- Define operational standards for trustworthy personalization, including transparency and user control.
- Embed research early in roadmap planning with Software Design, Product, and Data Science teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional UX or design research experience.
- Demonstrated ability to run both qualitative and quantitative research, including behavioral data analysis.
- Comfort reading behavioral analytics and data science output to identify human-observation methods.
- Experience researching AI-driven or algorithmic features with an eye toward trust and explainability.
- Strong storytelling and stakeholder communication skills to influence product decisions.
- Must be based in the US (excluding specific states) or able to work from the Helsinki office.
Nice to have
- Industry experience in health, fitness, or wearables.
- Familiarity with validated psychological instruments to quantify constructs like trust and agency.
- Prior work researching AI-mediated or algorithmically generated health guidance.
