TL;DR

Salary: $200,000–$225,000 base + equity + benefits

What you will do

• Advise on product safety and compliance requirements for online safety, including child safety and age-appropriate design.
• Support Trust & Safety operations, including content moderation systems and detection/classifier model development.
• Apply and interpret international online safety frameworks (e.g., EU DSA, UK Online Safety Act, Australia Online Safety Act, Brazilian Digital ECA) and US frameworks (e.g., Take It Down Act, COPPA, US-state age-appropriate design/age assurance laws).
• Build and operationalize legal operations infrastructure such as playbooks, reviewer guidance, training, and tracking systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure safety requirements are implemented effectively across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Experience with gaming platforms, social platforms, or UGC platforms.
• Experience with Trust & Safety operations, content moderation systems, or detection/classifier model development.
• Knowledge of international online safety frameworks (EU DSA, Brazilian Digital ECA, UK Online Safety Act, Australia Online Safety Act, or analogous regimes).
• Knowledge of US online safety regulations and frameworks (Take It Down Act, COPPA, US-state age-appropriate design or age assurance laws).
• Exposure to child safety regulation and age-appropriate design requirements.
• Experience developing legal operations infrastructure (playbooks, reviewer guidance, training, tracking systems).
• Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (specific counties listed) and be able to work from the office 1–2 days per week.
