What you will do

• Build and sustain substantive relationships with state and metropolitan homeland security advisors, CISOs, and public safety leaders.
• Develop and execute policy engagement strategies for AI-enabled cyber attacks, election interference, and biological threats.
• Represent hirify.global in engagements with governors' and mayors' offices and relevant policy organizations.
• Identify beneficial AI use cases for disaster preparedness, threat analysis, and resilient public services.
• Draft crisp policy briefs, strategy memos, and stakeholder materials on the national security implications of advanced AI.
• Coordinate with internal legal, security, preparedness, and public sector teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in homeland security, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, or related policy fields.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Experience at DHS or in a senior state/metropolitan resilience role strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated credibility with state and local government leaders and professional associations.
• Familiarity with AI-related security challenges, including cyber threats and biosecurity.
• Excellent communication, policy writing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
