Director of Operations, Health Analytics Practice

Location: Based in Chicago, New York, Washington, DC, or Tampa, with travel primarily to HAP offices in Boston, Chicago, New York, Tampa, and Washington, DC.

Salary: $175,000–$250,000 per year

What you will do

• Drive practice strategy, revenue growth, profitability, margins, utilization, and leverage in partnership with HAP leadership and experts.
• Maintain forecasting and tracking tools with FP&A and provide regular financial performance updates.
• Lead staffing, utilization, headcount forecasting, performance management, learning and development, and practice data initiatives.
• Coordinate business development opportunities, job pitches, case opportunities, marketing events, and cross-practice initiatives.
• Support leadership meetings, presentations, budgets, board updates, and practice events.
• Manage HAP operations managers and ISP operations coordinators.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years of prior work experience, preferably in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Background in consulting, strategy, management, finance, or professional services operations.
• Ability to analyze financial information and build models for profitability, resource planning, and compensation initiatives.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, project management, time management, organizational, and relationship management skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Must provide verification of legal right to work in the U.S.; company sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, MBA, CFA, or CPA.
• Experience as a consultant or former consultant transitioning into practice operations leadership.
