What you will do

• Support the Obesity Therapeutic Area Leadership Team and Global Development VPs with strategy development, goal setting, organizational planning, and functional project implementation.
• Create operating and business reviews, dashboards, presentations, staff communications, and business performance reports.
• Lead functional budget, resource planning, forecasting, and resource algorithm validation.
• Drive headcount tracking, position approvals, recruiting coordination, onboarding, and talent management activities with HR and business leaders.
• Turn unstructured business issues into action plans and projects with high-quality, impactful deliverables.
• Prepare and facilitate leadership and staff meetings, represent the function in process improvement initiatives, and build best practices across Global Development and R&D.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of related biopharmaceutical experience, or a master's degree and 4 years, bachelor's degree and 6 years, associate's degree and 10 years, or high school diploma/GED and 12 years.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical industry operations, with knowledge of clinical development, financial budgeting, and workforce strategies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, organizational change initiatives, and business case development.
• Strong conceptual problem-solving, influencing, negotiation, organization management, and staff mentoring skills.
• Work authorization and location requirements are limited to the United States; sponsorship is not guaranteed.

Nice to have

• MBA, PhD, PharmD, or master's degree with 10 years of laboratory science and biopharmaceutical experience, including at least 4 years in R&D.
