TL;DR
Head of Sales (AI): Building a world-class revenue organization for an early-stage generative AI startup with an accent on scaling sales strategy, pipeline management, and enterprise negotiations. Location: Must be based in New York City (On-site 4 days/week)
Compensation: $180,000 – $225,000 base salary + commission + equity

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end sales strategy, including pipeline management, forecasting, and revenue execution.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Account Executives and BDRs.
- Develop scalable sales playbooks and operational rigor to ensure efficient growth.
- Recruit top-tier sales talent and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Personally lead strategic enterprise negotiations and manage key executive relationships.
- Collaborate across GTM functions to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and product.
Requirements
- 10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams from the ground up.
- Experience selling complex software in mid-market and enterprise segments.
- Strong analytical skills for managing forecasting, pipeline, and sales KPIs.
- Must be based in New York City and able to work from the office 4 days per week.
