Sr Facilities Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: DeSoto, Texas; onsite five days a week

Salary: $112,704–$169,056 per year

What you will do

• Provide technical and logistical support for complex facility and test cell issues.
• Prepare and implement project plans, schedules, estimates, purchase requisitions, and facility expansion plans.
• Coordinate installation, relocation, modification, repair, and rehabilitation projects for facility and test cell systems and equipment.
• Schedule and oversee outside contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with specifications, safety requirements, building codes, quality standards, and completion schedules.
• Support space planning, capacity expansion, maintenance, facilities operations, and continuous improvement projects.
• Communicate project and program status and provide technical guidance to facilities personnel and leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction engineering or management, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in maintenance, engineering, or facility project management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency, attention to detail, independent problem-solving, and strong customer interaction skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or Navisworks.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in DeSoto, Texas.

Nice to have

• Expertise in facilities planning, design, construction, operations, office services, maintenance, or building infrastructure systems.
• Knowledge of construction methods, building codes, project management, and capital planning.
• Advanced skills in Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, MS Project, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
