Senior Consulting Engineer

Location: San Diego, California; onsite five days a week

Salary: $159,120–$238,680 per year

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional teams addressing complex design, development, manufacturing, and operational challenges.
• Provide technical direction and engineering support for components, systems, products, and services.
• Own design acceptance, manufacturing producibility, validation, and product testing activities.
• Develop technology roadmaps, project scopes, engineering procedures, and process improvements.
• Drive collaboration across the enterprise and with external stakeholders to deliver product solutions.
• Establish best practices that improve reliability, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

Requirements

• Degree in an accredited engineering, computer science, or materials science program.
• Expert-level technical excellence, analytical thinking, decision-making, product testing, and product design and development.
• Extensive experience influencing through technical expertise and managing significant projects.
• Ability to work onsite in San Diego, California five days per week.
