Location: Remote-first within the US (excluding AK, CA, CO, HI, NY, and WA), with occasional travel to Boston, MA for onboarding and team meetings.
Salary: $70,000–$85,000 annually.

What you will do
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather and refine business and data requirements.
- Translate business needs into user stories, epics, and technical specifications.
- Perform data analysis, source-to-target mapping, and validation using SQL.
- Support data profiling, quality monitoring, and lineage to ensure system reliability.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for requirements clarification throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and improve team documentation and backlog management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a data engineering or analytics environment.
- 2+ years of experience working with healthcare data (e.g., claims, EMR, HEOR, SDOH).
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data exploration and validation.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, public health, economics, or related discipline.
