Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, New York, Amsterdam) with 3 days/week in-office requirement for residents; Remote roles require 1x per quarter in-person attendance.

Compensation: $165,000 – $225,000 plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead user research sessions including discovery interviews and usability tests to validate solutions.
• Iterate on solutions through low- and high-fidelity prototypes to de-risk assumptions.
• Partner with engineers and product managers to shape new initiatives and balance technical constraints.
• Frame ambiguous problems into clear design opportunities and define success criteria.
• Contribute to and evolve the design system to ensure consistency across the product.
• Ensure shipped experiences match design intent through close collaboration with engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional design experience, preferably in B2B SaaS.
• Ability to distill complex workflows into intuitive user experiences.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience working iteratively and sharing work early.
• Systems-thinking mindset with an exceptional eye for detail.
• Ability to break large design initiatives into smaller, shippable pieces.

Nice to have

• Experience with content design or UX copywriting.
• Background working on products for accounting and finance personas.
