What you will do

• Guide and train junior technicians while ensuring smooth communication during shift handoffs.
• Partner with engineering teams to support equipment bring-up and process validation.
• Assemble electric engines including inverters, stators, gearboxes, and motors.
• Troubleshoot equipment or process disruptions and handle complex reworks.
• Perform detailed inspections using metrology tools to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain line health through routine equipment maintenance and workspace organization.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Jose, California
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including 3+ years in electric engine assembly.
• Proven experience in R&D, NPI, or early-stage production environments.
• Ability to interpret complex mechanical and electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Proficiency with precision inspection tools like calipers, micrometers, and CMM.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Active IPC Certifications.
• Experience with stator windings.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
