What you will do

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment issues on the factory floor.
• Analyze large data sets to identify opportunities for scrap reduction and throughput improvements.
• Develop and implement advanced equipment health monitoring strategies using AI-driven tools.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to install new equipment and perform upgrades.
• Provide technical leadership and build strong relationships with technicians across multiple shifts.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to prevent repeat failures and enhance reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics with 5+ years of experience (or equivalent advanced degree).
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing complex manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools such as JMP, Minitab, SPC, or DOE.
• Strong understanding of reliability engineering, maintenance practices, and root cause analysis.
• Experience supporting factory automation or manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cleanroom environment and provide occasional off-shift support.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI and machine learning tools for equipment performance.
• Background in the semiconductor industry with wafer fabrication equipment.
• Knowledge of robotics, PLCs, sensors, and industrial networking.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or Power BI for data visualization.
