Foundry Strategic Industrial Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid role with regular onsite presence at an hirify.global site in the United States; primary location Albuquerque, New Mexico, with additional locations in Phoenix, Arizona, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

Salary: $103,730–$198,820 USD annual salary range.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain data systems, business processes, reports, and models supporting hirify.global Foundry decision analysis and operations.
• Build capacity, cost, production, layout, should-cost, NPV, and ROI models for products, technologies, equipment, and manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate scenario-based analysis to quantify risks, opportunities, and trade-offs across technology development, supply chain, factories, finance, and other functions.
• Define and execute long-range capacity strategies considering product roadmaps, demand, factory capability, affordability, space, and forecast uncertainty.
• Develop equipment schedules, scheduling logic, and procurement requirements to support new technology ramps.
• Provide data-driven recommendations and strategic guidance to leadership while driving initiatives that improve organizational capabilities and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years, or a PhD with 1+ years.
• Experience synthesizing complex data into clear messages and impactful presentations.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, resourcefulness, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with management and stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels.
• Regular onsite presence is required, and the position is not eligible for hirify.global immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts and semiconductor manufacturing processes, including wafer fabrication, advanced packaging, and testing.
• Experience with capacity and cost modeling in manufacturing environments.
• Strong data analysis, business acumen, technical understanding, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Leadership experience delivering fast-paced, complex projects.
