What you will do

• Develop and own computational plasma models for semiconductor processes, including etching and CVD/ALD deposition.
• Collaborate directly with semiconductor customers on-site to scope engineering challenges and design modeling strategies.
• Select and apply simulation tools such as COMSOL, HPEM, VizGlow, or CFD-ACE+, validating outputs against experimental data.
• Work with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to integrate simulation results into AI-powered workflows.
• Lead specialized projects independently and mentor junior colleagues within a collaborative culture.
• Travel globally (North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania) for an average of 3-4 weeks per quarter.

Requirements

• PhD with 3–5 years of industry experience, ideally within semiconductor manufacturing.
• Deep expertise in computational plasma modeling, including plasma chemistry and ion energy distribution.
• Proficiency in Python for workflow automation and data handling.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the London office (Shoreditch) ~3 days per week.
• Ability and willingness to travel globally 3-4 weeks per quarter.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical results to clients.
