Fire Engineers UKI (All Levels)

Location: Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, Manchester, or Remote; right to work in the UK required.

What you will do

• Support or lead the delivery of large and complex fire engineering projects.
• Develop and review fire safety strategies across building design, construction, and operational phases.
• Contribute to or manage Computational Fluid Dynamics modelling and use CFAST, Pyrosim, Pathfinder, and other software tools to develop alternative fire engineering solutions.
• Carry out fire safety surveys, inspections, and site assessments across a range of projects.
• Build relationships with clients and design teams and provide clear technical advice.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and graduates; depending on experience, contribute to business development and client growth.

Requirements

• Background in fire engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fire Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience levels from Graduate through to Technical Director will be considered.

Nice to have

• Working towards or already holding Chartered Engineer status.
