Project Value Analyst (Energy)

Project Value Analyst (Energy): Supporting the development of investment analytics by building financial models and conducting valuation analysis for energy storage projects with an accent on IRR, NPV, and TCO modeling. Focus on gathering market data, benchmarking performance, and enabling deal teams with robust commercial insights.

Location: Must be based in Arlington, VA or within a reasonable commuting distance. This is an onsite position requiring 4 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Build and maintain IRR, NPV, and TCO models for energy storage projects.
• Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivities, and performance benchmarking.
• Gather, validate, and structure inputs including pricing, costs, and market data.
• Provide modeling support for active deals and customer-facing proposals.
• Improve model usability, automation, and scalability.
• Prepare executive-level materials to review key commercial insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in financial modeling or analytics.
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Ability to work onsite 4 days per week in Arlington, VA.

• Experience with Python or SQL.
