What you will do

  • Develop and maintain the Project Safety Plan and Safety Roadmap.
  • Ensure full compliance with OSHA and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Lead incident and injury investigations to implement effective corrective actions.
  • Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and audits to identify workplace hazards.
  • Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and address any identified deficiencies.
  • Facilitate weekly toolbox talks and safety training sessions for project teams.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • OSHA 500 Construction certification required.
  • CPR/First Aid certification required.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction safety standards including NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Proven experience in construction safety and jobsite environments.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Construction Management, or Engineering.
  • BCSP certification (CHST, ASP, CSP, or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Experience delivering safety training and mentoring field personnel.
