Location: On-site safety audits and inspections across California (CA), Nevada (NV), Colorado (CO), and Arizona (AZ). Up to 50% travel required, primarily personal vehicle in CA and commercial travel to other states.

What you will do

• Conduct independent safety audits, job site inspections, and hazard assessments at field locations supporting 52 field technicians.
• Provide training, coaching, and weekly safety huddles to field teams on procedures and compliance.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and develop prevention strategies.
• Develop and maintain safety programs aligned with OSHA, ANSI, NFPA standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Fleet, and Field Service teams to enhance safety culture and report issues to leadership.
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely communication of safety concerns.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in Safety roles within Electrical, Solar, or Construction Industry
• Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance and driver’s license
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and industry safety regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for training and influencing teams
• Proficiency in safety audit tools and reporting software
• Ability to lift 50lbs, work at heights, perform physical tasks, and travel up to 50%

Nice to have

• OSHA 30 certification (OSHA 500/510 preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Safety, or related field
