What you will do

• Manage lab inventory, including receiving deliveries, storage, and tracking stock levels to prevent shortages.
• Handle day-to-day ordering and resolve issues with late or incorrect shipments.
• Coordinate shipping and logistics for customer samples, reagents, and equipment, including cold chain management.
• Provide hands-on support to the science team with buffer prep, protein aliquoting, and plate handling.
• Oversee instrument maintenance, calibration, and repairs by coordinating with external vendors.
• Maintain lab safety, organization, and general office operations to support team growth.

Requirements

• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Lausanne
• Hands-on lab experience gained through a degree, apprenticeship, or previous technician role.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on identifying and fixing issues before they impact lab throughput.
• Proficiency in English and French for communication with suppliers and couriers.
• Comfortable with physical tasks such as unpacking boxes and managing freezer organization.
