Senior Operational Buyer 80-100% (m/f/d)

Location: CH - Visp, Switzerland; primarily based on site with remote work limited to no more than 20% of working time. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families.

What you will do

• Lead procurement activities for assigned portfolios, ensuring supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and compliance.
• Guide the Buyer team on priorities, processes, and procurement best practices.
• Manage supplier relationships through business reviews, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement plans.
• Improve vendor delivery reliability, quality, service levels, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive procurement digitalization and process standardization using SAP and other procurement tools.
• Collaborate with Planning, Logistics, Quality Assurance, Finance, and other stakeholders on supply chain transformation projects.

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent experience in SCM, Procurement, or a relevant field.
• Proven experience in SCM and Procurement, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Good knowledge of SAP MM ERP and Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across functions.
