Manager, Procurement CCPM & CE (MedTech)

Location: Schaffhausen, Switzerland; fully on site with occasional home office. Travel is typically up to approximately 20%.

What you will do

• Lead procurement strategy and sourcing for capital construction, project management, capital equipment, and related CAPEX categories.
• Manage supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contract execution, supplier relationships, and performance improvement.
• Deliver value across cost, cash flow, schedule, risk, quality, compliance, reliability, and service outcomes.
• Partner with Engineering & Property Services, Global Engineering Technology, site engineering, operations, finance, quality, EHS, and supply chain stakeholders.
• Deploy global procurement programs, preferred supplier initiatives, market intelligence, benchmarking, and continuous improvement at the Schaffhausen site.
• Improve procurement efficiency and compliance through risk assessment, total cost analysis, automation, and AI-enabled ways of working.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Science, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or category management, preferably in capital projects, construction, engineering, facility services, or regulated manufacturing.
• Significant contracting and subcontractor management experience, including knowledge of SIA 118 construction contracts.
• Experience with A&E, Construction Management, Automation, Commissioning & Qualification, and Capital Equipment suppliers is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, supplier relationship management, sourcing, category management, analytical, and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English is required; German is an asset.

• MBA or relevant master’s degree.
• Knowledge of sustainability and ESG, responsible sourcing, supplier risk, and procurement compliance.
• German language capability for the Schaffhausen site environment.
